I was just doing some reading about Gorey because my mother gave me one of his books, The Unstrung Harp (I’ve read a bunch of other stuff by him over the years, but this one in particular is about writing). According to Wikipedia, though, Gorey became an extremely big Buffy fan before his death. Good taste!

That’s one of my favorites of his, along with The Doubtful Guest. (I picked up some of his stuff when I was still getting a big discount working for the Book Fair.) I love stories about writers and penguin-looking-things. Would that he had combined them in a single work…
