Consumer humor round-up
I’ve been reading The Consumerist since it started a few years back, and it continues to regularly provide me with not just stories of the awfulness of corporate America, but also of brilliantly amusing anecdotes such as these:
This Boneless Spiral Ham Is “Delicious For Chanukah” [Badvertising] – Pretty much self-explanatory, but no less funny for the reality of it.
Reader Takes Comfort In Making The DMV Type The F-Word In A Legal Document [Bite Back] – There’s a reason the DMV is Hell on Earth, so I see this as totally and utterly justified.
Man Finds Used Condom In Southwestern Whopper, Sues Burger King [Fast Food] – Which is disturbing to no end, but worth it merely for the picture of the victim. I imagine the reporter prepping him for the photographer: “Okay, look disappointed. And mildly disgusted, like, say, you just found a condom in your hamburger and you don’t ever want to eat again.”
