The ever-elusive superhero shot
From the “how-much-difference-one-capital-letter-makes” department, we bring you this headline from CNN:
“Student’s camera snaps wolverine in California“
My first thought was “it’s true: he’s notoriously camera shy.”
My second thought was: hey, how come nobody ever points out that a wolverine is just a big weasel? I mean, Sabretooth—that’s a name that evokes fear. You don’t want to meet one of those in a dark alley. But you could probably just kick a wolverine and run away, right?
Finally, I spent some time trying to figure out if I could work fit a “Logan’s Run” joke into the title, but I eventually gave up.
